About Me

ArticWolf..aka..Wolfie: Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Time I guess to add a few words in this section. Where do I begin, started in the field of fishing when, like the majority of folks, as a young lad. Had a great mentor at that time, a well respected 'Fisher', by the name of Dave Protherall, who while I write this, has been fishing the waters in the sky for sometime now. He taught me the various methods of fishing, starting with yes, gear fishing, using an ultra light fibreglass rod, which I was instructed to make from scratch. He then went on to teach me not only rod making, but fly tying, fly fishing, the use of down rigging, bait casting for Mr.Essox, when and how to use bait, and the list goes on. I'm eternally grateful to that man, for he entered me into a most rewarding hobby one can only imagine, which during my growing years have reduced the natural stress that our society has laid on me. There is nothing that can beat the calmness that mother nature has to offer to mankind, when one is in her realm.
